Y.B.S returns with a new music video for his latest single “Days Weeks Months” where he flows over a chill drill instrumental.
Y.B.S is a rapper hailing from Varna Drive aka Jungle where he has lived since grade 2. He grew up in a single-parent household with 2 siblings with his mother.
When asked how he got into music he stated “I started from when I was young, I’ve loved listening to rappers and their clever word play. Rap is not like any other genre, in the sense of creativity and I felt inspired to try and put my own spin to it. So from young, I would make remixes of popular songs; putting my own twist on them and make it relate to me and what I’ve been through.”
The Varna Drive rapper flows over a relaxed instrumental on his latest single “Days Weeks Months.”
The single is a chill banger where the rapper executes various flows and melodies. His flow and cadences are reminiscent of UK rap mixed with a Toronto vibe.
The visuals are shot by Chiboki who follows the rapper and his crew in his neighbourhood and to the mall.
Y.B.S shows off his versatility on this single and aims to continue releasing bangers.
